  9. No files are transferred or modified in this installation process until
  10. you go to Step 5: Install and click on the Start Installation button.
  11. If you make a mistake, it's no problem; just go back and put in the
  12. correct information.

  14. The EnlightenDSM Network Installer allows you to install EnlightenDSM
  15. components to any rexec-connectable host. As the installation relies on
  16. rexec functionality, please be sure to have the rexec service
  17. registered on any machine that you want to install EnlightenDSM components
  18. on. Also, be aware your configuration information is verified "on the
  19. fly"; a slow network will cause the installation to go slowly.

  21. Although this verification can slow down host configuration
  22. considerably, it does allow for unattended installations (when you
  23. click on "install" during step 4, everything should go smoothly.

  25. Note: The EnlightenDSM Network Installer is SIGINT and SIGHUP aware. If
  26. you want to kill the EnlightenDSM Network Installer or cancel any
  27. operation, type <Ctrl>-c in the window where you started this process.
  28. EnlightenDSM will then prompt you to confirm your action.

  30. Any errors, as well as successful progress, will be reported in the
  31. Installation Log section.
